Engineering Services Examination/Indian Engineering Services Exam is organized every year by Union Public Service Commission to recruit Engineering Graduates in the higher cadre posts in various departments and ministries of the Government of India. The commission conducts the ESE/IES Exam for major branches of engineering namely Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics Telecommunications.
Two stages (Prelims and Mains) of the UPSC ESE exam are conducted in offline mode to shortlist the candidates. Through UPSC ESE/IES 2024 Exam candidates are selected in the departments like Railways, CPWD, MES, CWC, Ordinance Factories, etc...
The candidate should have an Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized university or other educational institute. Also, the Current Final year students are eligible for IES 2024 Examination....
There are two stages in which the examination will be conducted. Stage-I is prelims examination and Stage-II is Mains examination.
